ALAFIA ROOM

Our baby room offers a safe, caring environment, with bright soft toys and equipment.  Our emphasis is building strong positive relationships with children and parents alike. We provide activities that match the interests of young children, making it attractive, exciting for them.  All our resources are carefully selected to stimulate exploration and capture children’s imagination. The babies have access to music, nursery rhymes, story time, treasure basket and heuristic play.  

We focus on getting to know each child’s routine and provide a daily report on each child so that parents are always well informed about their day. Their daily report will include details of the activities your child has participated in, what they have eaten and how long they have slept.

The babies have access to music, nursery rhymes, and story baskets with colourful books to make this area of learning fun so that children develop a lifelong love of reading. We have resources to enhance heuristic play, various collections of discovery play and treasure baskets with variety of safe sensory resources that helps promote learning and development.
